Privacy Policy

How CatalogFix collects, uses, stores and protects user data during product catalog processing.

1. Data we collect

CatalogFix collects only the data needed to operate the service, create an account, process catalogs, complete orders and support users.

  • Account data: email, name, hashed password or Google profile data.
  • Order data: selected package, payment status, product count, creation date and processing history.
  • Uploaded files: CSV/XLSX catalogs, column mapping, AI processing results and export files.
  • Contact messages: name, email, subject and message text.
  • Technical data: site events, session cookies, basic visit statistics and service logs.

2. How data is used

We use data to provide CatalogFix features: file upload, product processing, result generation, exports, order history, account login, user support and service improvement.

  • Processing and storing catalogs.
  • Preparing files for WooCommerce, OpenCart, Shopify and universal exports.
  • Checking package limits and payment status.
  • Responding to contact form requests.
  • Preventing abuse and diagnosing technical issues.

3. AI providers and third-party services

For AI processing, CatalogFix may send necessary fragments of product data to third-party AI providers, such as OpenAI, only to complete the user request. Do not upload personal, confidential or commercially sensitive data that is not needed for product descriptions.

Google OAuth is used for Google sign-in. In that case, we receive basic profile information: email, name, Google identifier and, if available, profile picture.

4. Legal bases

Depending on the situation, we process data to perform a contract or user request, based on legitimate interest in service security and improvement, to comply with legal obligations, or based on consent where consent is required for certain cookies or optional features.

5. Retention and deletion

Data is stored for as long as needed to provide the service, keep order history, support users, maintain security and comply with legal or financial requirements.

A user may contact us through the contact page to request deletion of an account, uploaded files or processed results, unless further retention is required by lawful obligations.

6. User rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, transfer data, object to processing or withdraw consent.

To exercise these rights, contact us through the contact page.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect data: restricted service folders, user sessions, password hashing, restricted admin access and basic secure file storage rules.

No online service can guarantee absolute security, so users should not upload unnecessary personal or confidential data in product catalogs.

8. Policy updates

We may update this policy when service features, payment methods, third-party providers or legal requirements change. Last updated: 15 June 2026.
